Avangard Fiber Tec Co. operates a 17,000 m² plant in the Second Industrial Zone,
10th of Ramadan Industrial City, Egypt. It is a consortium of four organisations
across four countries: Avangard Engineering Group (Russia), Arabella Group
(Egypt), Ento Capital Co (UAE) and Bayt Al-Khabara Legal Consulting (Saudi
Arabia). The company supplies projects in Egypt, Saudi Arabia, the Gulf and
international markets.

GFRP is a corrosion-proof alternative to steel reinforcement. Avangard's rebar
reaches a tensile strength above 1,300 MPa against roughly 390 MPa for
conventional steel rebar, at a density of 2.2 T/m³ against steel's 7.8 — about
75% lighter for the same length. It does not rust, is non-magnetic and is
dielectric, which matters in marine, coastal, chemical, rail, power-generation
and medical construction where steel corrodes or interferes.
